700 Cats Rescued From Cruelty in Florida

700 Cats Rescued From Cruelty in Florida

It’s sad to think about everything that he’s going through these types of living conditions don’t happen overnight it takes a long time for it to get to this point this was known as a as a sanctuary here in Florida and as we’ve seen while
we’ve been here this is anything but an animal sanctuary and you can see where he’s got he is missing pretty much his entire upper lip many of these cats have illnesses that have been going on for what appears to be years it’s a little bizarre it kind of looks like like another limb coming out of his
chest that’s how cylindrical it is it’s definitely
a bizarre looking mat I don’t even know how you’d describe that for me there’s no better feeling than
knowing that the animals I helped remove today are gonna move on and have a better life yesterday it was a little bit of a frantic environment there was over 700 animals that we were rescuing from chaos there are deceased animals for the to come here at the shelter it’s very calm I think they sense that they’re safe it’s amazing to know that he is on his way to recovery one cat in particular that we noticed was in poor condition had some issues with his eyes, we believe he is completely blind right now the positive side is now he’s in excellent hand and he is on his road to recovery
and eventually will be on his road to his permanent home it really puts into context how horrible the conditions are when you see them thriving in the environment here
and how different it is and it’s really a beautiful thing to be a part of we’re here to protect them and take them away from that situation and their lives are going to be different now and it’s almost like they can tell

  1. i saved my kitten, city from my moms car’s hood. she was so beautiful, but she’s no longer with us, she had an underlying heart condition and sadly she passed away a few weeks before her 3rd or 4th birthday. we don’t know exactly how old she was. i miss her with everything in me, but she’s happy now. she passed peacefully in her sleep and i will never forget the morning when i found her.

  2. The meowing from helpless cats is unforgetable this needs to stop how would you like it if you got locked up and torcherd every day but I'm glad some people in tje world are kind enough and nice to help these poor cats god bless you people Who take time out of your day to help this animals from crule people

  3. God bless The Humane Society and these wonderful people who engage in what must be very emotionally traumatic circumstances. The worst thing about this is knowing that this neglect happened under the umbrella of a "cat sanctuary". Horrible.

  4. May God always bless you Humane Society of the U.S and your families and your little angels that you have rescued from cruelty and all on here 🐈🌻💐

  5. People convicted of animal cruelty should be forced to give all of their money to animal rescue foundations.

  6. I want to start my own sanctuary for cats when I move out in tenessee but I have no idea where to start. I want to take in death row cats and cats who live in kitten mills. Do you guys have any advice?

  7. I don't care what I have to learn to endure, these types of situations and these animals fuel me to keep going to my shitty job as a Walmart cashier to pay for school so I can help these poor creatures. I've gotta do it.

  8. About 2 years ago my parents and sister went on a walk and heard a kitten meowing. The next day me and my friend went to look for the kitten and found him sitting on my neighbors sandbox frame. He ran off and we went after it. He ended up going underneath a pine tree and my friend trapped him and grabbed him. She got really bad scratches and he was so scared but it was worth it because now he is the best cat I could ever ask for. Not all good cats come from stores.

  9. Well cows, chickens, and 🐖 suffer in the meat and dairy industry, so it is fair that cats suffer too. Why are cats somehow more Superior to all these other animals??? That's not fair.

  10. Animal hoarders really need to be thrown in the hospital and have many, many tests as to their mental state. Personally I'm convinced they are NUTS!

  11. I think the people start out with good intention then it gets out of control quickly.. thats what rescue places are for.. adoptions..donations helps them do their great work

  13. No way a want a c.a.t no no no so sad sad sad sad sad sad 😭😭😭😢😭😢😭😢😭😢😢😭😢😭😢😭😢😭😢😭😢😭😢😭😢😯

  14. I want to do this. For real. How do I become one of these animal rescuers? I've loved animals my whole entire life and this video honestly made my cry to see how amazing the shift in lifestyle for them was.

  15. Thank you so much! I’m so grateful that you guys are in our awful world! We have harassment, pollution, cruelty, abuse, and many more bad things. Thank you! This is why is subbed, because your helping animals in need! Thank you <3 💕💕

  16. So loving in spite of all they've been through. Thankyou for rescuing them.. beautiful kitties just want to be loved and touched.

  17. It breaks my heart to see how animals have been treated by humans. It’s heartbreaking to know that people are capable of hurting innocent lives. It touches my heart to see that there are people like you who dedicate your time in rescuing animals that have become victim to people like this. Why people do this? I have no idea. It gives me a feeling of relief to know that the Humane Society is out there doing things like this. I volunteered about a year ago. It changed my life. I was too young to be on the Rescue Team, but I am approaching the age at which I can. I’m hoping I’ll be able to. Please keep doing what you guys are doing. It breaks my heart seeing animals in these conditions. With millions of other people behind me, I thank you for your service and your dedication to helping these animals. Thank you.

  18. Quanta crueldade com os bichinho?Isto que estes gatos viviam não era atitude de quem gosta de bichos.Graças a vcs foram salvos, obrigada 👏🏾👏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🇧🇷

  19. Seven… seven..ty? Seven HUNDRED?! There aren’t enough homes for these poor sick creatures. I hope most got better forever homes…

  20. at 2:36 on he said there are dead cats IN THE FRIDGE. this is horrible I just wish the person who did this could have relized it's wrong , I have a farm and we have cats, on three diffrent porporties .and sometime we get a bit overgrown on one proptie but we move them around. and switch toms with other famer so inbreding never happens(whitch it can happen) but I just hope we will never come to this. I know this a illness but it still makes me so very sad to see this. this is why people hoard animals. Studies of animal hoarders show that their behavior often begins after an illness, disability or death of a significant other, or other difficult life event. … So they feel unable to give up their animals for adoption because they believe no one else will provide their intense love for them

  21. This is beyond sad 😔
Please free them as soon as possible. Find them a warm loving family, thank you.
    Adopt don't shop.

  22. Those poor little cries. Omg…i NEED to be apart of this. I want to help. How do I help? I live in CT and the Humane Society in Westport only has openings for specific (degree required) positions and it is confusing to me when there is clearly a need for extra hands to at the very least spend time with the animals and clean up….
Anyway, does anyone have some advice for a beginner?

  23. Hoarding is an example of the best of intentions gone wrong. And that is what many humane societies themselves have done with their positions on microchip implant of these animals. You can see these animals have been through too much already. And they do need to be neutered and vaccinated. But microchips cause pain, illness and exploitation. The industry is unregulated and promotes their products through deceptive practices. They are even distributing plastic microchips for implant into pets. This is a plea to all humane supporters to educate themselves about pet microchips. Before you implant a microchip in a pet, please find out more at https://chipmenot.info

  24. And as soon as they recover ,they are going to be ungrateful and always hungry..again. Why is that so with cats? Human personality

  25. It’s amazing to know that these animals were betrayed by humans but were able to open up to other humans and just allow them to catch and pet them what amazing animals.

  26. Human society USA three cheers for you angels. I am still in tears can't believe humans can be so cruel and heartless. poor babies in such a horrible conditions but when Goddent angels arrived they shorted out everything all poor babies transfered from hell to haven. be blessed you and team and the volunteers. do you know one thing you are not only rescuing the animals but building your own heaven it the world here after. you people cool our eyes with tears of happiness

  27. Thank you all my angel hero s🌺♥️🌺🧚‍♂️🌸🧚‍♂️🌹♥️🌹🧚‍♀️🧚‍♂️🦋🦋💕💕🐱🐱🏆🥇🏅🎖🏵🎗🏆🥇🥇💖💝😍

  28. Getting medical care comes next after fresh water and food. Please be certain to get everyone of them spayed or neutered as soon as possible. This is the best choice for their safety and health. The adopters can pay for the medical care when they adopt each cat. All cats automatically feel better when they have been spayed or neutered. They have such relief from stress and can relax because that burden is finally lifted. This will help strengthen their immune system and help them heal from everything. Please consider not waiting until they get adopted to have them spayed or neutered. I believe they will recover from the suffering faster and much easier to tame any of them that need it.

  29. What upsets me the most is that this person people want to put down in this video is she probably did ask for help with these cats at a specific time but was denied and she could only do the best she could do while more and more people dumped these cats on her I feel bad for the person who tried really hard and didn't succeed because she didn't get help when she probably asked someone for it let's not throw stones people
