Today one of our clients lost the
financial support that they rely upon to meet their day-to-day living, because the
DWP failed to offer them a Work Capability Assessment over the last 365
days. After a catalogue of errors by the DWP, we’ve had reason to speak with them many times over the last year. We contacted them this morning and they
advised us that they’re unwilling to prioritise the claim any further. This
means that our client has now lost the vital support to help her to meet her
day-to-day living needs, and is without that money from today
