Dr. Currie: Today is May 5, 2014, and we’re
at Arkansas Spinal Care and Neuropathy Treatment Center. Ma’am, what’s your name? Lavern: Lavern Denver. Dr. Currie: All right, Lavern. So today is
your last day. Tell me how bad things were. What were you dealing with when you came here? Lavern: It was bad. I couldn’t hardly walk.
I couldn’t hardly get out of bed. And when I walked in here, I was walking doubled over. Dr. Currie: Okay. So then, how long did it
take you to get relief? Lavern: The first treatment. Dr. Currie: How much relief did you get after
your first treatment? Lavern: I walked out straight that afternoon.
It was wonderful. Dr. Currie: All right so… Lavern: And it’s been wonderful ever since. Dr. Currie: That’s awesome. So have you had
any problems along the way? Laverne: No, no problems at all. Dr. Currie: How has life changed for you? Lavern: I can walk. I can do things that I
couldn’t do before. And I do exactly what Dr. Currie says to do. Dr. Currie: Awesome. So what would you give
this if an A+ rating or an F? Where would you rate this? Lavern: A+. Dr. Currie: A+, huh? Lavern: It’s wonderful. Dr. Currie: So today right now on your last
day, where would you rate yourself if 10 on the pain scale and a zero is no pain and 10
was extreme, where would you rate yourself? Lavern: No pain. Zero. Dr. Currie: Awesome. Thank you for being my
patient. Lavern: Thank you for taking me. Dr. Currie: What would you say to someone
who was looking at, you know, who was having the kind of problems you were having? What
would you say to someone? Lavern: Call Dr. Currie. Just call Dr. Currie.
He’ll take care of you. Dr. Currie: Thank you, Lavern. Lavern: You’re welcome, sir.
