Civilization VI: Gathering Storm – First Look: Inca

FIRST LOOK: INCA Pachacuti leads the Inca in Civilization VI: Gathering Storm. Though many of the details of his remarkable reign are lost to history, Pacachuti led the expansion of Cusco into the organized and powerful Incan empire. The Inca’s unique improvement is the Terrace Farm. These can only be placed on Hills, and provide Food, plus additional Food for adjacent Mountains. Terrace Farms also provide Production for adjacent Aqueducts and Fresh Water. The Inca’s unique ability is Mit’a which allows Citizens to work Mountain tiles. Mountain tiles provide Production, as well as Food for adjacent Terrace Farms. The Warak’aq is the Inca’s unique unit. This Medieval reconnaissance unit can attack twice in a turn if it hasn’t used all of its movement points. Pacachuti’s unique ability is Qhapaq Ñan. Domestic Trade Routes get additional Food for Mountains in the origin city. He also has access to the Qhapaq Ñan improvement – an early version of the new Mountain Tunnel improvement – after discovering Foreign Trade. For the Inca, Mountain tiles are more than just great defenses. Pacachuti’s unique ability, along with plenty of Terrace Farms, means the Inca will truly thrive in their sprawling mountain cities. As Pacachuti, you can lead your civilization without worrying too much about outside influence – internal trade routes are stronger than ever, making this a great isolationist civilization. Will your civilization reach its peak in the mountains? How will you lead the Inca in Sid Meier’s Civilization VI: Gathering Storm?

  2. Why don't the terraces have containment walls ? like, you know… Actual Incan terraces.

So much for good representation 😢

  3. one little problem with this one…Incas had no currency…or trade…they were "true commis"…only labor and food for everyone or death for disobey

  4. You are getting me hyped with every new civilisation in this update. I'm so looking forward to gathering storms. 😀 <3

  6. hola, me pueden ayudar en algo . quiero comprar el juego pero me dice que no esta disponible en la region

  7. What if you made the Cromwells as a second English leader?
    Just a suggestion
PS: just got civ on the switch and it’s really fun

  8. I would Love the Topçu Canon as an unique Unit for the Ottomans. There are to less alternative Siege Units in the Game.

  9. Can you add in Venice and allow them to settle on water like rising tide done right and bonuses to being a merchant republic PLZZZZZZZZ

  10. we haven"t heard from the civ team in 2 weeks…i can understand bc xmas break but i REALLY want the next civ to be anncouned. keep up the good work as always firaxis but this expansion is the only thing that can take me awy from parodox interactive

  11. I was disappointed you cannot rename major religions in CiV6, I always rename Catholic Church to Boy Molesters and Islam to Terrorist Assh*les in Civ 5

  12. I hope they adjust current civs in the game like America getting screwed in the last few civ games. How could the USA be so sad they should at least have a currency bonus.Civilizations hates the USA for sure.

  13. AWESOME!! No longer need mods to work mountains.
And production from adjacent aqueducts is GENIUS. Lets them settle in mountains away from rivers, and more production.

  14. I am very excited for Gathering Storm, but please make worthwhile improvements to the ai or at least give modders greater freedom to do so.

  15. Working mountains for 2 extra hammers alone is amazing!
Adding a 5 food yield with an adjacent terrace farm is just ridiculously overpowered! XD

  16. I feel like if it was a trade boost it should have been a foreign one. The Incans didnt have to much domestic trade, but their government traded alot foreignly.

  17. i just finished a game with him, and besides the beautiful music when you play him, the terrace farms make big op cities,so op!

  18. The Inca special units are horrible because of "1 range" it is a Ancient Era unit but is available in the Medieval Era🤦‍♂️

  19. Once the Inca invent refrigeration, they’re just going to have to build enormous freezers to put most of their food in.
