I think the thing that the biggest highlight for me was not only the constant variety of the work but the fact that it was cutting edge technology that was exciting to to be around and participate in. Especially, as a research pilot The fact that I was backed up with such a great team of people engineers, mechanics and technicians it’s what really made it a go. I got this award for being on the pointy end for a lot of years but there’s a big team that’s down below each one of the test pilots and without those people there’s no way that we can be successful so this is really an award for them as much as it is an award for me. I just get to carry it for them. it’s unbelievable because I’ve been fortunate to be selected for this honor at a very young age I know a lot of the people that are members of the Walk of Honor already. These are people that I’ve flown with like Fitz Fulton, Bill Dana, Tom McMurtry Don Malek and people who are some of my heroes. Scott Crossfield Jimmy Doolittle, folks like that. And it’s amazing that someone would think of my accomplishments what allow me to be included with them so it’s a it’s a huge honor it’s easily the biggest in my life.
