MINUTES EARLIER, THE GREEN HONDA WAS INVOLVED IN A HIT AND RUN BEHIND THE WISCONSIN HUMANE SOCIETY.>>KNOWING THEY GOT OUT OF THE CAR, WALKED AROUND, LOOKED AT THE DAMAGE, THEY KNEW SOMETHING HAPPENED, BUT THEY DIDN’T SEEM TO MIND. BEN H.: VOLUNTEERS WALK DOGS BEHIND THE BUILDING, DAY AND NIGHT.>>THEY COULD HAVE HIT OR KILLED SOMEONE. I DON’T KNOW IF THEY WOULD HAVE STOPPED. BEN H.: SHE SAID THE DRIVER CASUALLY BACKED OFF THE SIDEWALK INTO THE ROAD AND DROVE OFF LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED. THIS PICTURE SHOWS THEM LEAVING THE AREA. CHRISTMAN CALLED POLICE AND FOLLOWED THE MAN AND WOMAN ACROSS THE STREET TO A TRUCKING COMPANY.>>DIDN’T — HE DIDN’T SEEM LIKE THEY WERE IN A CLEAR STATE OF MIND. THEY SEEMED OUT OF IT.
