How to apply for social welfare. It’s easy to apply for social welfare using the e-service. Before you begin it’s good to gather all the necessary information concerning your income and outgoings. All information must tally with your material. You are responsible for ensuring that your information is correct. providing incorrect information is benefit fraud and can lead to you being reported to the police. To apply and log in you need BankID. This is a safe way for you to identify yourself online. It is also a safe way for us as an authority to protect your personal details. Log in with your BankID. If it’s your first time applying please click on new application. Your personal details have already been entered from the civil register. Fill out the remaining details to complete your application. You have to put a digit in each field. If you don’t have any details to enter just write zero. Then click on save. Your details are now saved but not submitted. This is good in case you need to take a break or continue later. In which case your details will remain. You move on by clicking on next at the bottom of the page. If you have missed a field you will get an automatic popup message. You can see what fields you need to complete to move on. If you have any questions please click on the little question mark above each section. Once you have filled everything out please click on next. You will see a summary of your whole application. Before you sign and submit your application you will also need to tick a box to say that you have partaken of the information. If there are two applicants the other person must also log in and sign for you to be able to submit the application. Once you have signed the application you will receive a confirmation that your application has been submitted.
