Morgan Wood honored as All-Star Athlete


here’s this week’s by star all-star athlete Morgan Wang I want to hear about being homeschooled Taekwondo is your sport I want to hear about your service let’s start with the schooling part this is unique not everybody is home-schooled and you’ve done that so well that you’ve already got college credits right yes sir when I graduate I will have 49 college credits that will transfer with me to the honors program at Stetson University you know why did you choose Stetson I liked it it was a small school being raised homeschooled I was used to that one-on-one teaching and instruction so I like being able to know that I can go to the professors and they’ll know who I am or they’ll be willing to work with me on stuff let’s talk about Taekwondo this is something that you’ve done for a long time I as I read my notes fourth degree black belt that means you’re pretty skilled right yes sir I’m considered a master at Taekwondo and it’s been really exciting we’ve done it for 13 years and we actually helped to run the entire organization we have 17 schools through northeast Florida two in South Carolina and one in Tennessee Wow Morgan I’m really impressed by this I want you to explain because I understand you’ve created your own nonprofit explain to us what all in the day is all about all right we take vitamins and supplements from anyone who’s willing to give them to us and we also sell books or use textbooks or school books and the profits from that all go to purchasing medical supplies to send to missionary organizations and third world countries we are so excited that here at channel 4 we are naming you the Vice star all-star athlete of the week congratulations thank you so much sir
