Nassau Humane Society adoptions – Mermaid

good morning and welcome back it’s now nine 41 we have some success stories to share with you from the nassau humane society and here with her well and we’re also going to I don’t know if we’re going to the success stories are we going to the success stories now or are we going there she going to talk about them oh well joining me this morning I apologize is Jacqui McDonald she has a friend with her her name is mermaid do we wanted to I’m gonna let you decide you want to talk about mermaid or do you resist this way yeah I know so this is mermaid she’s three months old and will probably show her black eye and this cat is gorgeous this kitten kitten so yes three months old she was found stray and I brought her this morning because she has this unusual birth defect where her back legs and you may not be able to see it as much on TV but we’ll put her down there I’m somewhat fuse social data she hops just like a rabbit and I don’t know if we can show it I think we camera look at her go and do you think at home that’s gonna stop her for two seconds I think she’s got a studio hey out of here anyway she’s friendly with other dogs or with dogs and cats none of that impacts her so she’s a really neat kitten so it really just shows that any kind of special need does not impact our animals and that’s really great news as we have two people chasing her down out they did catch her and we should know for our viewers at home who are interested there’s not a corrective surgery for this type of no because it’s not she’s not in any kind of pain and she uses her back legs there so she’s fast she uses her back legs to sort of propel herself right um yes she’s not in any sort of pain it’s just really a birth defect like any other you know people could have it or animals but it does not slow her down at all is so soft for people at home interested in mermaid mermaid adopting her where can you please come out to now so Humane Society we’re on the island in Fernandina Beach because there is another shelter in yulie as well but come on out to the island we have tons of other kittens and dogs usually I bring dogs so please come see us we have tons of perfect pets for you folks take mermaid home take other pets home let’s give them a friend again TV’s shelters also we have a success story to tell we do yours well last time I was here I brought another kind of special needs blind Clyde I called him he was a little Shih Tzu so yeah he had lost all his vision and he was just adopted the next morning as soon as he was here which is really special this is his new mama and it shows again they’re so resilient this is another one tigress the black dog who I brought here as well a little older about eight years old was such a perfect fit for this family they also had an older dog that needed a companion so look at those happy faces that is what animals do for you yes happy endings we love to see that here look at mermaid pad mermaid to your family or any of our pets they really complete your family thank you so much for coming in if you’d like to adopt check out the Nassau Humane Society
