Pet Of The Week: Beaver County Humane Society (10/1/18)

WELCOME BACK. IT’S MONDAY AND THAT MEANS IT’S TIME TO MEET OUR PETS OF THE WEEK. AND TODAY’S PETS COME TO US FROM THE BEAVER COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY. MIKE OF THE SOCIETY IS HERE TO INTRODUCE US TO GIDGET AND FIDGET. AND FIDGET IS LEAPING OUT OF MY ARMS AS WE SPEAK. GET ON BACK HERE. GOOD MORNING HEALTHER. GOOD MORNING. SO TELL BUTTS TWO CUTIES. THESE TWO CUTIES CAME TO US AS PART OF A LITTER. THEY ARE BROTHER AND SISTER. YOU HAVE FIDGET WHICH IS THE MALE AND THIS IS GIDGET WHICH IS THE FEMALE AND THERE ARE — THEY ARE 11 WEEKS OLD. SO THEY ARE OLD ENOUGH TO BE ADOPTED. THEY HAVE TO BE SPADE AND NEUTERED BEFORE LEAVING THESHELTER AND WILL GET THE SHOTS AND BE READY TO GO. THEY SHOULD STAY TOGETHER BECAUSE THEY ARE HOUSED TOGETHER AND THEY ARE FOND OF EACH OTHER. MAYBE FIDGET WANT TO GET BACK WITH GIDGET. WHERE DID YOU GO. THEY CAN FIDGET TOGETHER OR FIGHT EACH OTHER. TELL US HOW THEY CAME TO THE SHELTER. THEY COME ASTRAYS DURING KITTEN SEASON WHEN CATS HAVE LITTERS. PEOPLE FIND THEM IN THE GARAGES AND UNDER THE PORCHES AND THEY DON’T WANT TO KEEP THEM. THEY BRING THEM TO US. THEE CAME IN IN FOUR WEEKS. WE KEEP THEM FOSTERED UNTIL THEY ARE OLD ENOUGH TO BE ADOPTED OUT. AND THEN, NOW AT 11 WOKE THEY ARE READY FOR THE THE FOREVER HOMES. THERE ARE A LOT OF GREAT ORGANIZATIONS THAT DO TRAP AND NEUTER OR SPAY. AND THAT HESS TO CROP THE POLE LEAGUES BUT IT’S — BE BUT IT’S IMPOSSIBLE TO FET EVERY — WE TRAPT CATS THAT ARE — TRAP THE CATS THAT ARE HAVING THE KITTENTS AND PAY AND — SPAY AND ?IEWTER THEM AND SEND THEM BACK OUT SO THEY WON’T HAVE LITTERS. FUTURE LITTERS. RIGHT. BUT YOU HAVE LITTLE KITTENS LIKE THIS THAT NEED MOMS. YES. YOU THINK THEY WILL HAVE A HARD TIME. THEY WERE BEING PASSED AROUND THE STEWED CROW MORNING. A COUPLE PEOPLE IN THE NEWSROOM AMY MAY HAVE WANTED ONE. SHE WAS TORN AND SAID I THINK YOU WILL ONLY HAVE ONE CAT. LET’S TALK ABOUT A BIG FUND- RAISER YOU RUN EVERY WEEKEND LEADING UP TO HALLOWEEN.
