Pet Of The Week — November 14, 2019

Cristina: Welcome back well we’re certainly in the
midst of fall and as we mentioned the temperatures around Flagstaff are
dropping Chelsea: That’s right and one of the best ways to warm up on this world
kindness day is with a new furry friend or should I say friends NAZ today’s
Joi Johnson wants you to mean not one but two pets of the week Joi: Yes we have two
special dogs that are such best friends that they had to get interviewed
together let’s meet our dynamic duo Nikita and Monique Nikita and Monique’s
history isn’t well known but their bond is absolutely unbreakable Heather: They grew up
together and they came in together we don’t really know a whole lot about
where they you know yet temperaments you know we just know that they are best
friends they have separation anxiety Joi: And here’s
something they have in common they’re both senior dogs Nikita is six and
Monique is eight Heather: I always push the senior dogs over the puppies and stuff
just because they’re just as loyal and you know they just need somebody to know
them huh Joi: These two are best friends that have one word to sum up their behaviors
Heather: quiet except for when we tried to separate them then they’re whining was
but they’ve adone bark they’re not Barker’s they just are in separate
kennels because they’re too big to fit in whine so that’s the only thing I
could think of that would bother these dogs is just not having their besties
Joi Although they don’t have to be adopted together the Humane Association would
love to keep these girls in the same home if you’re interested in adopting
Nikita and/or Monique or any other animals at the Humane Association stop
in or visit Coconino Human. org Joi Johnson NAZ Today
