  1. One officer is a lie. they staff more than that. Someone was sitting on their ass at the diner instead of doing the job.

  2. I was in the same situation about 2 weeks. I had found a dog that was hit by a car on artisco and iliff. I called the non emergency number for the police since i couldn't find a 24hr number for animal welfare. It took them from 9:15pm to 10:00 by then the dog had already passed. And the welfare officer excuse was he was coming from the east side shelter and he was the only officer on duty.

  3. I went to check my mail and a pitbull charged at me growling. I went inside and called, they said they would only come if the dog was contained because it might not be there when they arrived.

  4. Just when I thought I was going hear of a pit that died of old age or of natural causes and not by the hand of man. Very rare event in NM.

  5. I hope people leave fresh water outside for all creatures suffering through the extreme temps..i do.
Poor baby is lucky a man with a good heart found him 💖
