ESS 30-YEAR-OLD CHASE CLEVENGER DIED LAST DECEMBER… ‘HOURS’ AFTER WORKING A FIRE IN ESTILL COUNTY. HE WAS A FIREFIGHTER AT ‘TWO’ FIRE DEPARTMENTS. Since his death they’ve carried on that legacy with a scholarship for firefighters. But so far they haven’t had any applicants for the coming semester. Captain Zachary Chase Clevenger was a firefighter for the montgomery and estill county departments.
