The mood of the social platforms


Hey! I’m Penelope. We’re going to be
looking at some different social platforms and the moods around those
audiences. Number one. LinkedIn allows you to connect with other
professionals or businesses in a formal manner. It’s a platform to expose your
professional digital footprint and connect with other like-minded
individuals. Number two. Facebook’s platform creates seamless
interaction with friends, groups and family in mind. It’s used as a tool for
escapism as you scroll your feed and stumble across posts that are relatable
to the aforementioned. Number three. Snapchat is a selective platform where
you choose where you want that information to be seen as it’s not
placed on a feed unless it’s placed on a story. It’s light and informal manner gives
viewers a quick glimpse at what you’re doing.
Number four. Think of Twitter like a newsroom. You’ve limited time and space to announce your short and tactful message. Twitter is a great tool that lets people
know of the current updates of your business.
Number five. Audiences on YouTube are looking for longer formats of video
content where they specifically search for entertainment or educational videos.
Number six. Instagramers are on the look for new ideas and inspiration from
people brands or influencers. It’s layout is aesthetically pleasing as there is
little text the be seen on the predominant photo and video social media giant. Do
you know the saying a picture says a thousand words? Well a video shows a thousand
pictures. By now you should have a good idea of what content to post that aligns
with the audience of these different platforms for your business.
