  1. Amaaaaazing!!! <3 <3 <3
There are cool muslims in Germany, you just need to find them 😀 😀

  2. As a Pakistani born Canadian, this was emotional for me to watch. I wish I had some honest conversations with my parents instead of pleasing them and craving their approval I wish I had known how to make them understand the differences…its heart breaking when you hear your parents say things like "dont act like white people….I regret bringing you to this country" …

  3. Oh, this was soo good! The fusion of vlog and documentary is amazing — well done. Very well done. I think you might have found your thing. I'm excited to see more.

  4. WOW! So sick! The whole dance group is so sweet and inspirational and Emine is an incredible role model! Can't wait for the next episode >.<…. Also thanks so much for putting so much work into this Nadir! I've followed all your struggles on your insta stories but you just keep going… you too are a great role model :DD

  10. You are multiethnic? Where exactly are your parents and ancestors from? 🙂 Just for interest, i really love the video 🙂

  11. I love love love your short documentary. I instantly interlinked with Emine, as I used to dance hip hop in a group and stopped when I reverted to Islam. I grew up with Military Americans and this is how I grew up English speaking as well the American way of life, in particular it's Hip Hop culture in Germany. I stopped dancing, but the rhythm is still with me. It never dies. Please check out my news channel in English, I have just set up. I stopped dancing, but instead travelled the world for the past 16 years, really sharing a flat with all kinds of races, faith and nationalities. Islam gave me so much more then what people expected it to do.

  12. I'm pretty sure you are the first one to come up with such an idea like these vlogumentaries. I really enjoyed it! You're doing an amazing job doing what you are doing, Finding out the stories of people who are torn between two cultures and such. As a person like that, I can strongly relate. You and your work is in a way representing us, the people who's voices get shut down by our parents and culture and more. I know this channel is still in its very early stage but I am very proud to say that it is by far one of my favourite channels and I'm glad I got to be part of this journey of BENI.
